Discover your unique trigger foods from a simple finger prick blood test. Our Food Intolerance test analyses your blood against more than 130 foods and drinks to accurately show your food specific IgG antibody reactions.

Adverse reactions to foods can cause problems like IBS/Bloating, Fatigue, Skin Problems and even Headaches & Migraines.  They may be stopping you progress and perhaps causing significant water retention. These problems can occur 2 hours, or 2 days after eating your trigger foods, making it very difficult to self identify your intolerances.

Food sensitivity / intolerance testing

Who is it for?

There are typically two types of people that will benefit from this test:

Those who have problems that may be caused by diet (IBS/Bloating, Skin problems, migraines, bloating, water retention, chronic fatigue etc) the test is used here as a fast track to an elimination diet. Rather than recommending an overly restrictive diet, or relying on months of trial and error - the test can accurately show reactive foods, and the level of reaction - results are sent to you within 3 working days.

Those who are looking to personalise their diet, ensuring it is not just optimal on paper, but optimal for them as an individual. An example I would give here is recovery, on paper a whey shake is the best thing to have after a workout, but if you are intolerant to whey, it could be one of the worst things you could have. Food intolerances cause an inflammatory response, which often disrupts nutrient absorption and digestion.

What does it involve?

Discover your unique trigger foods from a simple finger prick blood test. Our Food Intolerance test analyses your blood against more than 130 foods and drinks to accurately show your food specific IgG antibody reactions.

Adverse reactions to foods can cause problems like IBS/Bloating, Fatigue, Skin Problems and even Headaches & Migraines. These problems can occur 2 hours, or 2 days after eating your trigger foods, making it very difficult to self identify your intolerances.

Within 3 days, a 12 page report details your reactions with sections on Protein Supplements, Cooking Oils, Drinks & All Major Foods Groups.

This is available to anyone living in the UK and you do not have to be an existing member of Cheshire Barbell.

How does it work?

The test is completed in a UK laboratory, using a few drops of blood on a Capillary Collect absorbent wand. The test looks at 135 relevant food and drinks, covering all major food groups.

Our test is designed to help you discover your unique trigger foods. We test Whey, Casein and Whole Milk separately, and have 10 Individual food and drink sections including: Protein Supplements, Cooking Oils, Drinks & all Major Food Groups. In total, we test 135 highly relevant food and drink antigens.

The Scale of Reactivity shows reactions from levels 0 to 5 instead of just a basic ‘Positive’ or ‘Negative’, allowing us, here at Cheshire Barbell to prioritise diet changes specifically to your exact needs.

All food and drinks are tested individually instead of in mixtures, to allow more accurate diet changes.

The Laboratory only sources antigens from European Medicines Association approved suppliers, to ensure testing accuracy.
