Frequently asked questions
What equipment will I need for the Home Gym Plan?
As the name of the plan suggests, the idea of this programme is that it can be completed at home without the need for a gym membership. It is written for those who have access to basic home gym equipment including:
Barbells, Kettlebells and/or dumbbells, Skipping rope, Pull Up Bar and Resistance Bands
If you don't have access to any of these, the equipment can be substituted for items commonly found around the house, such as a rucksack filled with water bottles and books, paint tubs with a handle, or even water bottles.
You can also purchase equipment from our store: www.cheshirebarbell-shop.co.uk
Once you join, you can message us via the members only WhatsApp group and discuss your specific requirements and we'd more than happy to provide you with specific advice, alternatives and substitutes
Are the Online Programmes tailored to me specifically?
No, however they are goal specific, meaning they are carefully structured in a way that will guarantee results based on effective evidence-based scientific principles.

What equipment will I need for the online transformation programmes?
I don't programme anything that requires specialist equipment. It is recomended that you have a gym membership or a reasonably well equipped home gym. Typically, you'll want to have access to:
• Barbell and plates
• Dumbbells and or kettlebells
• Resistance bands
• Pull-up bar
• Preferably some form of non-impact cardio such as bike, rower, assault bike etc
I do also programme at-home conditioning sessions, mobility and recovery work. A lot of the exercises can be done at home as they consist of bodyweight-only movements. There will be a few runs planned along the way to help with energy-system conditioning
What equipment will I need for the No Equipment Home Plan?
As the name of the plan suggests, the idea of this programme is that it can be completed at home without the need for equipment. For this reason, the majority of this programme is completely bodyweight.
We do also include sandbag / loaded rucksack exercises to help add some intensity to the workout. For this, you can just fill a rucksack or holdall with waterbottles, books, or sandbags purchased from your local DIY / Garden Centre
You can also purchase items from our shop: www.cheshirebarbell-shop.co.uk
Once you join, you can message us via the members only whatsapp group and discuss your specific requirements and we'd more than happy to provide you with specific advice, alternatives or subsitutes
