Our Core Ten - Vitamin, Mineral & Hormone Panel test allows you to identify your levels of ten of the most important markers for health, that could be affecting your energy levels, performance, body composition and overall well being.

Whilst working hard to achieve a physical goal, it’s important to identify if your body has any deficiencies or levels that need to be addressed to ensure that you can achieve optimal results.

Vitamin, Mineral & Hormone panel

What does it test?

A testing kit will be provided to take a small amount of blood from a finger prick sample. This can be completed at home, and a pre-paid envelope will return your sample to our laboratory for analysis.

The Test looks at:

Vitamin D is one of the most important factors to consider for energy, body composition, overall wellbeing and even mental health. With some studies showing that more than half of the UK population could have inadequate levels of Vitamin D, it’s crucial to know your level.

Vitamin B12 is crucial for our energy and performance. Often people can be deficient in B12 due to their diet, or their bodies ability to process B12 from their digestive system. The good news is once we establish your exact level, we can address it quickly through dietary changes or a supplement protocol.

Vitamin B9 (Folate) which is important for  performance and energy

Albumin (Protein) which is important for strength, performance and energy.  Low levels of Albumin can be a sign of Liver disease, Kidney impairment, and with inflammatory disorders or digestive conditions such as Crohn's disease or Coeliac disease.

FT4 & TSH (Thyroid) crucial measures for your metabolism, weight management and energy levels. Together, these thyroid markers, when levels are out of range may indicate an underactive or overactive thyroid, which may be the cause of fatigue, weakness or weight gain.

Magnesium which can influence strength and clarity. Low levels can cause fatigue, muscle weakness, cramps, muscle spasms or convulsions.

Ferritin (Iron) important for energy and vital functions. Low levels can result in fatigue, weakness, headaches and leg pain. High levels can also cause fatigue.

Calcium which contributes to bone health, memory and other vital functions. Low levels can cause easy bone fractures, muscle cramps and spasms, brittle nails and depression.

Sodium contributes to energy levels. Low levels of Sodium can cause weakness, fatigue, low energy, headaches, muscle cramps or irritability.

If you wish, you can also have the following tested as an optional extra:

Sex Hormone Binding Globulin
